ADOBE'S WARNOCK RETIRES

John Warnock is retiring as CTO of Adobe Systems Inc. (San Jose, CA), which he co-founded with Charles Geschke in 1982. Warnock will remain as chairman of the board alongside Geschke, who retired as president in March 2000. Under Warnock's technical leadership, Adobe has developed its graphics, publishing, Web and electronic document technologies. He holds six patents.
